Four Spaces Themed Around “Home”
Located a 2-minute walk from Wadazuka Station on the Enoden Line and an 11-minute walk from JR Kamakura Station, “HOUSE YUIGAHAMA” has opened on Yuigahama Street, an area lined with modern buildings that echo the design and scale of traditional structures like the kenchiku看板 (signboard architecture) and dashigeta-zukuri (projecting beam construction) styles.
The facility comprises four distinct spaces: a “Library” offering hundreds of books on architecture, interior design, gardening, and life in the Shonan area; a “Cafe” designed to foster relaxed and enjoyable moments; a “Gallery” showcasing unique materials and innovative living concepts; and a “Shared Office” for those involved in home and space creation.
Shared Office in Kamakura
“HOUSE YUIGAHAMA” is operated by Enjoy Works, a company primarily active in real estate and architecture. They are seeking applicants for the shared office spaces, aiming to foster collaboration among residents, particularly those involved in home building, space design, creative endeavors, and community development.
Furthermore, the venue plans to host workshops in the future to encourage collaboration among individuals across various industries and business types.
