PIERRE MARCOLINI JAPAN Co., Ltd., which handles Pierre Marcolini in Japan, has announced the release of "Frozen Cuberdon," a world-first new product that reimagines Belgium's traditional confection "Cuberdon" as a frozen sweet. This new summer 2022 offering will be available exclusively in Japan from June 25th.
Brand founder Pierre Marcolini held a strong affection for Japan and its fans, visiting annually around Valentine's Day even before the pandemic. This new product was born from the desire to "deliver a refreshing and special sweet that will bring smiles to everyone, even during Japan's typically hot summers."
This creation showcases the unique creativity of Pierre Marcolini, who is not only a chocolatier but also a pastry chef, ice cream maker, and confectioner.
Originally, Cuberdon is a sugar confection filled with sweet syrup, cherished as a traditional Belgian sweet. The "Frozen Cuberdon" being released offers six colorful flavors. It is a frozen confection that reimagines Cuberdon for the Japanese market, capturing the taste of fresh fruit with the aromas of herbs and spices.
