First-ever limited edition Christmas box from Bulgari Il Cioccolato

BulgariOn November 22 (Friday), Il Cioccolato will launch its first limited edition Christmas box, the "Natale Box." Additionally, "Panettone," a staple in Milanese homes during the Christmas season, will be available starting November 19 (Tuesday), a little earlier. Both are limited in quantity, so early checking is recommended.

Panettone: A quintessential Italian Christmas confection

The "Natale Box," the first offering from "Chocolate Gems," which means "jewels of chocolate," is a collection featuring panettone and Franciacorta, essential for celebrating the Italian Christmas season.

You can enjoy two flavors: a white chocolate ganache blended with panettone essence, coated in dark chocolate, and a Piedmontese hazelnut milk chocolate ganache, also coated in dark chocolate. The other is a Franciacorta (an Italian sparkling wine made using the same method as Champagne) dark chocolate ganache, coated in dark chocolate.

Beneath the brand logo adorning the box, the message "Buon Natale" (Merry Christmas in Italian) is inscribed, enhancing the special feeling.
Available from November 22 (Friday) in a limited run of 1,000 units. Priced at 3,000 yen.

The homemade panettone, crafted using traditional recipes, is presented in an elegant black box. Limited to 1,500 units, it will be available from November 19 (Tuesday) to December 25 (Wednesday). Priced at 3,500 yen.

The origin of panettone dates back 500 years to the Renaissance. Legend has it that when the cook for Ludovico Sforza, ruler of Milan, was tasked with preparing a lavish Christmas feast, he accidentally burned the dessert. His apprentice, Antonio, offered a trial pancake, which surprisingly became a great success.

This tale, where "pane di Toni" (Toni's bread) evolved into panettone, tells of a representative Italian Christmas confection.
