Sweets Featuring Wholesome Ingredients Like Amazake, Walnuts, and Dates
When you go to a sweets buffet, you might feel guilty, thinking, "I've eaten something that's bad for my body," or "I might gain weight."
To ensure you don't suffer from such negative emotions, Conrad Tokyo presents the "Guilt-Free Sweets Buffet," composed of healthy and nutritious sweets and savories.
The sweets include 12 visually appealing options, such as the "Brown Rice Amazake and Peach Cream Roll Cake," made with amazake—a Japanese superfood low in calories and rich in vitamins and amino acids—soy milk whipped cream sweetened with peach pulp, and rolled in gluten-free rice flour sponge. There's also the "Raw Brownie," made with walnuts, dates, raisins, and cocoa powder, with no added sugar.
For savories, there are six dishes curated by the chef to fit the guilt-free theme, including "Gazpacho" made with tomatoes and watermelon, which are in season for summer, and seafood marinated with moringa-infused genovese.
It's a buffet that satisfies your cravings for sweets and delicious food while also being kind to your body.
