The "Makers Dinner," an event offering a cultural experience centered around wine, will be held monthly at Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Yatsugatake, inviting winemakers and producers related to wine. Guests can enjoy a special dinner conceived with input from producers, tailored to the wine lineup.

At Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Yatsugatake, located in Yamanashi, one of Japan's premier wine regions, the "Makers Dinner"—an event featuring winemakers and wine-related producers—will be held monthly starting August 2018. The "Makers Dinner" was conceived from the desire of sommeliers, who often visit wineries and engage in information exchange with producers, to "ensure that meticulously crafted wines are thoroughly conveyed to our guests."




On the day, guests can savor a special menu created by the head chef of the hotel's main dining room, "OTTO SETTE," to complement each wine.

Participants can enjoy the perfect marriage of food and wine while engaging in wine discussions with the chef and producers. By prioritizing the enhancement of the wine's delicate flavors and incorporating the opinions of wine producers, this special pairing dinner will deepen guests' affection for and interest in wine.

The "Makers Dinner" is scheduled to be held monthly, featuring carefully selected producers recommended by the sommelier from over 100 wineries in Yamanashi and Nagano prefectures. The next event will feature Mr. Yasunobu Komaki from Komaki Vineyard and will take place on Sunday, September 30th.

Additionally, accommodation plans are available to coincide with the "Makers Dinner." Guest rooms are equipped with stemless tumbler-style wine glasses, suited for relaxed enjoyment, and guests can further savor their wine while reliving the dinner's ambiance by taking out wine from the "YATSUGATAKE Wine house" wine shop.

The accommodation plan also allows participation in "Yatsugatake Winery Walk," where guests can visit wineries with hotel staff. This plan offers not just wine tasting, but a complete experience of wine culture, including scenic vineyard views and brewery tours.
