Announcing a Luxurious Christmas Limited Special Box
Compartes Chocolatier, a long-established purveyor of fine chocolates with its main store near Santa Monica, Los Angeles, has been cherished since its founding by iconic figures such as Frank Sinatra, Winston Churchill, and Marilyn Monroe. Now, a limited-edition product for Christmas 2012 has been announced.

America's Most Talked-About Young Chocolatier
Compartes Chocolatier was born in Los Angeles, USA, in 1950, bringing European chocolate-making techniques and recipes. In 2003, Jonathan Gram, a revolutionary figure in chocolate artistry, became owner at the young age of 19. Jonathan was selected for Forbes' "30 under 30" feature, highlighting 30 young individuals under 30, in the Food & Wine category. He was also given the nickname "Chocolate Boy" by Teri Hatcher at a Golden Globe Awards event, making him a notable chocolatier in America today. His creations are loved by people of all ages and backgrounds, and the Los Angeles Times website awarded him the highest praise among young chocolatiers worldwide.
A Three-Tiered Box in Exquisite Velour
Compartes Chocolatier's chocolates are characterized by their vibrant and pop designs, reminiscent of jewelry. The "Special Box ~Christmas Limited~" is a luxurious three-tiered box with the logo embossed on black velour fabric. The first tier features truffles that can be selected in-store. The second tier holds love fruits and orangettes, which pair exceptionally well with champagne. The third tier contains cookies and love nuts white, filled with a colorful array of popular items. Additionally, a champagne glass engraved with the skull motif, a symbol of Compartes Chocolatier, is included in the set.
Since its arrival in Japan, Compartes Chocolatier has delighted us with various collaborations.
This time, in collaboration with candle artist Sachiko Maeda, they will be offering the cake "Sound Story" exclusively at Sogo Seibu. Adorable candles arranged on the fruit pâte de fruit surface, designed to resemble a vibrant red carpet, will create a romantic Christmas ambiance.
