A masterpiece born from a veteran bartender's career.

Aria Portland Dry Gin co-founder Ryan Zankey spent 17 years as a bartender, ten of those as manager at a popular bar in the culinary hub of Portland. Serving discerning customers daily, he realized that American craft gins didn't appeal to those who preferred classic gins, nor did they pair well with martinis, a classic gin cocktail. He decided to create a classic London Dry Gin himself.

In 2007, he began his distilling career with his close friend Eric Martin. Focusing on a balance of rich aroma and depth, it took four years to finally complete Aria Portland Dry Gin in 2012.

Between its founding and 2015, Aria Portland Dry Gin received a Double Gold at the representative San Francisco World Spirits Competition, along with eight other awards. It has been featured in numerous overseas media outlets, from specialist drink publications to newspapers and lifestyle magazines, and is also featured on the menus of popular restaurants and bars frequented by celebrities.

Aria Portland Dry Gin appeals not only to lovers of classic dry gin but also to those who don't typically drink gin. Its popularity stems from the meticulously selected ingredients and the precisely researched flavor profile.

The water, essential for producing high-quality spirits, is sourced from the Bull Run watershed, a primary water source for the city of Portland and renowned for its exceptional quality. The flavor is characterized by its depth, complexity, and balance, fine-tuned to the hundredth of a gram, resulting in a smooth, refreshing finish with a pleasant lingering aftertaste.

This masterpiece, hailed as "the renaissance of American gin" (Food & Wine Magazine), presents an unparalleled opportunity to savor it in Japan. We highly recommend it to gin enthusiasts and those who typically shy away from gin alike.
