This artistic sencha, discovered by THE Ô DOR in Nara Prefecture, said to be the birthplace of Japanese tea. The tea leaves, liquor, aroma, and taste all convey the deep affection of the producer. The sweet aroma of young buds from tea leaves picked with one bud and two leaves, and its elegantly mellow, rich umami. Inokura Tea Garden, which produces this superb sencha, won first prize in the sencha category at the 2010 National Tea Competition. This tea is meticulously hand-rolled into pearls, using tea leaves picked in the "one bud, two leaves" state—the method for high-grade tea leaves—from the tips of new shoots. While "Thé du Loup" literally means "tea of the wolf" in French, the "du Loup" actually refers to "Le Guen." The name of THE Ô DOR's first blend, created solely from his favorite things, is "Guillaume Le Guen's Tea"!

BOLLYWOOD CHAIPUR
Instead of sprinkling flavorings onto the tea leaves, this chai-specific flavored tea traps the spices within the can, allowing the tea leaves to absorb their rich aromas. As a result, the individual spice aromas do not stand out; instead, they blend softly into a harmonious whole, creating an incredibly mellow taste! To prepare: Combine milk (200cc), sugar (2 tsp), and tea leaves (1/2 tbsp) in a pot. Heat while stirring until just before boiling, then turn off the heat, cover, and steep for about 3 minutes.
