"Takashi Murakami Flower Strawberry Afternoon Tea" also available until Wednesday, March 31
This special plan, limited to one group per day at Grand Hyatt Tokyo, is the third collaboration project following the "Roppongi Hills Takashi Murakami Project." The Chairman's Suite, one of the hotel's three major suites, was transformed into a special space with a room plan personally curated by Murakami himself.
The room's bed, inspired by Murakami's signature "flowers," features plush toys, while the living room displays paintings, rugs, and flower balls. Art even extends to the bathroom and toilet. A total of 14 artworks, including 10 new pieces created for this plan, adorn the space, filling the room with Murakami's colorful and cute world.
Particularly noteworthy is the 195cm tall golden "flower parent and child" sculpture, created by Murakami specifically for this plan. He commented, "I wonder what kind of feelings our guests who stay in this room have. I want to offer the utmost hospitality!! That's why I created a new, large flower parent and child sculpture."
The plan also includes an in-room dining dinner course enjoyed within the flower-themed room, and guests receive an art book with a handwritten signature from Murakami. With original flower sweets boxes and more, this pop and artistic room offers excitement and thrill, making you feel as if you've melted into the art itself.
Additionally, until Wednesday, March 31, 2021, French Kitchen on the second floor will host the "Takashi Murakami Flower Strawberry Afternoon Tea." A delightful array of visually appealing and delicious sweets awaits visitors. With popular photo spots also available, the collaboration of seasonal strawberries and "flowers" is sure to brighten your spirits.
In addition, enjoy the "Takashi Murakami 'Flower' Afternoon Tea Takeout Box," limited to 20 sets daily, and "flower" nail art. Immerse yourself in a moment where the entire Roppongi Hills is colored by Murakami's art.
