Spaces only this generation of architects can express
The "Exhibition of Architecture by Architects Under 30" focuses on emerging architects under 30 who are just beginning their careers. This year marks its fourth iteration. AAF, the organizer, states, "The exhibitors, representing this generation, are pursuing spaces that can only be expressed by this generation, exploring richer ways of living for people with fresh ideas, and utilizing a diverse range of unique expressive methods such as drawings, models, and interactive installations. The architecture at the forefront of their vision, expressed through various techniques, will likely show the possibilities of future architecture." The featured architects are Ryozo Iwase, Miyuki Ue, Ippei Komatsu, Koichiro Sugiyama, and Tomoyuki Tsukakoshi – five emerging architects.
"U-30 Commemorative Symposium" brings together prominent architects
The commemorative symposium, held during the exhibition period, has expanded in scale this year, with two sessions. Prominent architects with offices across Japan, from Hokkaido to the Chugoku region, will gather.
