As a DJ, I'll be sharing the "sounds" that catch my ear each day—or perhaps things and people that evoke sound. My hope is that this can be a catalyst for weaving more music into our lives, much like fashion, art, or a fine meal, to enrich our existence just a little.
Being as a DJ, I'm introducing some "Sounds" (or something or persons that I feel the "Sound" from) in here, such as fashion, art, good drink and food, I hope we can put some more music in our lives so as to make it a little bit more satisfying.
Adult Music to Listen to This Autumn: Part 1
Arthur Verocai / Encore (Far Out / Village Again)

In 1972, a quietly released album in Brazil captured the diverse influences of the era's American music—from jazz, funk, and soul to soft rock and acid folk—transforming them into a uniquely contemporary sound.
The album was titled after its artist: "Arthur Verocai."
It would take another thirty years for this rare gem to gain global attention.
Verocai, who began his musical career in the 1960s, had primarily worked behind the scenes, producing, arranging, and composing for Brazilian music luminaries like Ivan Lins, Elis Regina, Jorge Benjor, and Gal Costa. His artistic resurgence, complete with an "Encore," began when the album was reissued by San Francisco's Luv N' Haight in 2003, sparking renewed interest and critical acclaim.
This new album, featuring his lifelong friend Ivan Lins and members of Azymuth, delivers a timeless, creative sound that makes it feel as though the debut album was released just yesterday.
Arthur's enduring guitar work, the cinematic beauty of the string arrangements, and the effortlessly pop vocals create harmonies that evoke a blend of exhilaration and wistful reflection, much like watching a sunset.
This is an album to savor during the deepening days of autumn.
