Hello.
Though I'm quite late compared to the other participants, with the arrival of spring, I too will finally begin.
As a DJ, I'll be introducing the "sounds" that catch my ear daily – or perhaps things and people that evoke sound – here. Much like fashion, art, or delicious food and drink, I hope to weave more music into our lives, creating a "spark" that enriches them just a little.

Ben Westbeech / Welcome to the Best of Your Life (Brownswood / Trafic)
Gilles Peterson, a DJ who has influenced the global dance music scene for over 20 years. Following the now legendary ACID JAZZ of the 80s and TALKIN' LOUD of the 90s, he launched his own new label, "Brownswood Recordings UK," last year. Here we feature Ben Westbeech, a new talent from Bristol and a flagship artist for the label.
His soulful productions, reminiscent of Jamiroqai, are becoming a hot topic among music lovers, transcending genre boundaries. He will make his first visit to Japan for the Brownswood label launch party at Yellow in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo, on April 4th. This album is scheduled for release on April 11th. A highly anticipated artist for '07 is finally arriving in Japan. (Gilles and I are also scheduled to DJ at the party.)

Simbad / Supersonic Revelation feat. Abdul Shyllon / Soul Fever Karizma Remix (Raw Fusion)
This 12-inch is scheduled for release from Raw Fusion, a dance music label based in Sweden.
Simbad is a French DJ and producer based in London. His track "Soul Fever," released last year on the same label, became a global club hit, bringing him significant attention. His productions, which showcase a diverse musical background, are among the best of the younger generation.
My recommendations are the deeply soulful track "Supersonic Revelation" (Original) and the "Soul Fever" remix by Karizma, another artist to watch.
