Four Sections (Playgrounds) Coexist Organically in One Space
Opened in Sendagaya in January 2012, the multi-communication space “2【Ni】” has operated as a CAFE LOUNGE, ARTIST BOX, WALL GALLERY, and AlexanderLeeChang SHOP. The relocated “2【Ni】” in Matsumizaka adopts a slightly different format, with a concept of four sections—ALC SALON, THEATER WALL, MINIRAMP, and AlexanderLeeChang SHOP—intertwined and connected within a single space.
The “ALC SALON” is a relaxing space where you can browse clothes, skate, watch videos, and simply unwind.
“THEATER WALL” is a space to watch entertaining video works by artists together with the gathered audience. In the future, events will be held to screen videos, including many from HIDENORI TANAKA (http://hidehd.tumblr.com/), a filmmaker affiliated with CHANG co.,ltd who extensively films skateboarding.
The “MINIRAMP AREA” features an indoor mini-ramp for skateboarding. It aims to foster connections between skaters and non-skaters, those interested and those not.
The “ALC AREA” is a space where items from the brand “AlexanderLeeChang,” themed around “connection,” are discreetly displayed. Limited-edition tote bags (small ¥300, large ¥700) are also planned for release.
