Adult Jazz for the Beginning of Autumn
At the beginning of the program, we featured Luca Mannutza, a pianist/composer who is a member of the elite Italian jazz musician band, Hi-Fly Quintet, and has left behind numerous wonderful works. In his latest album, he reinterprets his past works, inviting his close friend, saxophonist Max Ionata, and others! From that album, we introduced "Safari," a hard bop track that unfolds simply and coolly.
Next, we presented a new track from TRI4TH, which delivers a cool performance as if in response. They have honed their skills through sessions with powerhouses like Tatsuo Sunaga and Yasuyoshi Konishi. This track, "Night Hawks," was fitting for TOKYO MOON, produced by Sunaga.

The Beauty Room "The Beauty Room II"
Kirk Degiorgio, known as a unique presence creating techno music born from soul and jazz funk, is a DJ/producer. This project, The Beauty Room, is a collaboration with singer/keyboardist Jinadu. Their second album is about to be released. The songs, which incorporate elements of folk-rock, jazz funk, and AOR (Adult Oriented Rock), possess a unique sense of floating that will resonate with fans of Zero 7. From this album, we introduced "One Man Show," a track with comfortable string arrangements by Paul Buckmaster, who has worked with artists like David Bowie and Elton John.
At the end of the program, we featured "Feeling Feelin'," a compilation album curated by Els Sur Records, a world music shop in Shibuya celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. From this album, which collects "Feeling," a unique style of Cuban vocal music born from the fusion of American jazz and local bolero in the late 1950s and early 1960s, we closed the program with a romantic song about the moon, fitting for the program's title.
