The stage play "Rock 'n' Roll" is an epic tale spanning 20 years of a peculiar friendship and conflict between two men living through a turbulent era that began with the "Prague Spring" in 1968. Max (Masachika Ichimura), a Cambridge University professor who believes in Marxism, and Jan (Shinji Takeda), his student, a Prague-born rock music lover tossed about by political currents. Set to the backdrop of iconic rock 'n' roll music (The Rolling Stones, U2, Guns N' Roses, Pink Floyd, etc.) that defined the era, this is a grand epic that has received critical acclaim in London and on Broadway.
