BALLY, a heritage brand with a long history in shoemaking, has collaborated with the prestigious Central Saint Martins. A selection from the collection, created with students chosen through a contest, will be available for pre-sale starting August 4th (Wednesday) at Isetan Shinjuku.

Young Talent Shaped by Craftsmanship
BALLY, which has expanded its expression beyond its roots as a renowned shoe brand into bags and fashion, collaborated with students from the prestigious Central Saint Martins in the UK during the Autumn/Winter 2010-11 collection season, unveiling a shoe collection.
In a room at the BROWN HOTEL in London, shoes designed by five students under the tutelage of Louise Wilson, professor of fashion at the school, along with sketches of the production process, were exhibited, showcasing their fresh talent to a large audience.
This project began in 2009, with students first submitting shoe designs that expressed BALLY's heritage, renowned for its craftsmanship and finest leathers. Ten pairs of women's shoes from five finalists were exhibited at this exhibition.

For the production, students visited BALLY's factories in Italy and Switzerland, learning from the design conceptualization to the final product completion. In Japan, six models from this collection will be available for pre-sale starting August 4th (Wednesday) at Isetan Shinjuku. With craftsmanship, sensibility, and conviction backed by 150 years of tradition, the brand nurtures young talent—now entering a new stage.
