A New Hub for Creativity
Opening to coincide with the Milan Expo, "Armani / Silos" is envisioned as a container (or silo) filled with diverse ideas and projects. Using Giorgio Armani's collections as a starting point, it will showcase his fashion, costumes, and creative vision. The aim is to share his rich experience and craftsmanship with new generations, fostering a spirit of inquiry into creativity.
The building, originally a grain silo constructed around 1950, has been renovated with Armani's signature modern and sophisticated aesthetic. Across its four floors and 40 rooms, the facility houses event spaces, a gift shop, and a cafeteria. The top floor features a digital archive. The opening exhibition celebrates Giorgio Armani's 40th anniversary, displaying approximately 550 looks and 200 accessories from past collections, curated into four thematic sections.
A lavish launch party was also held to celebrate the opening. The event was graced by numerous celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Janet Jackson, and Cate Blanchett, making for a glamorous evening.
A video has also been released, offering a glimpse of Giorgio Armani visiting the facility during its construction and capturing the splendor of the celebratory party.
