Creations Evolved from Street Fashion

This season's Calvin Klein platinum draws inspiration from the mood of young, rebellious athletes. For men, voluminous woven t-shirts and shirts; for women, light, wide-leg cropped pants. These pieces achieve a simple yet impactful look through bold layering and voluminous silhouettes.

The styles, reinterpreted from street fashion, utilize fabrics finished with matte textures such as nylon, silk-bonded leather, and coated poplin. These technologically inspired materials blend with the smooth finishes of cotton, silk, and jersey, creating a subtly futuristic image.

The shoe series, featuring a unique shark sole, offers a casual impression for both men and women. Flat, plain forms are characterized by crossover straps and large metal buckles. Clean-lined ankle boots and ballet slip-ons are also appealing for their snug fit.

The color palette presents a pure, bright, urban impression. The overall look is based in white, with chalk white and ink blue used as accents for monochrome outfits to create contrast. Additionally, vibrant hues such as intense red, raw green, modern blue, and fluoro bright, combined with black and white, stand out vividly.

For women, the collection features items layered with sporty mesh, emphasizing transparency. Bold squares and rounds created through laser-cut pleats combine strength with femininity. Pants are loose and slouchy wide-leg styles that subtly reveal the skin, while skirts come in short A-line or voluminous pleated lengths.

The materials used for this season's bags are matte finished, flat-bonded nappa leather in chalk white and black. Within these, a variety of materials and textures are incorporated, including snake print and plastic. Black edges emphasize the contours of the items, while metal zippers and buckles add accents to the details.

Other elements that characterize this season's Calvin Klein platinum include jacquard sweaters, bonded leather knits, and the various hexagonal patterns used on poplin items.
