Lithium Femme, the women's line of Lithium Homme, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter season with a collaboration with the popular rock band back number. They have released the short film "Hanataba feat. LITHIUM FEMME" on YouTube, inspired by the band's song "Hanataba" (Bouquet).

Lithium Aims to Fuse Music and Fashion

The concept behind Lithium Femme is "synchronization of mannish and feminine." Based on simple designs that are easy to incorporate into everyday wear, the brand offers clothes that make women shine, with a focus on materials and silhouettes.

For the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection, marking the brand's 10th anniversary, the popular back number song "Hanataba" serves as the collection's theme song. The collection imagines a woman who possesses strength within her universally loved femininity. While focusing on basic colors, the designs eschew excessive ornamentation, emphasizing details and styles that beautifully enhance a woman's radiance.

Meticulous Domestic Craftsmanship, on Par with the Men's Line

A signature item is the mod coat, featuring Teflon-processed fabric from OLMETEX and fur on the hood and cuffs. The silhouette is balanced without being too tight, and the material has a moderate crispness, resulting in an elegant finish with a refined hue.

Crafted from high-quality lamb leather sourced from Spain, this authentic double rider's jacket boasts a modern design with a tight silhouette and sharp cutting. The subtle sheen of the leather complements the mature aesthetic of this outerwear.

Other offerings include duffle coats made from cashmere-blend melton with a moist texture and lustrous finish, and designs with collars that are both mannish and feminine. Oversized knit dresses made from high-quality, thick-gauge wool are also available.

Lithium Homme/Femme Designer Takes on Scriptwriting Duties

Lithium has a history of collaborations with musicians, including their "LITHIUM MUSIC PROJECT" with Alexandros (formerly Champagne), the "LITHIUM ROCK FESTIVAL," and producing a photo exhibition for Kazuyoshi Yoshii's 10th anniversary.

The short film "Hanataba feat. LITHIUM FEMME," which fuses fashion, music, and film, directly expresses a love story linked to the evocative charm of back number's lyrics.
Directed by Yasuyuki Yamaguchi, known for numerous music video productions, the film features a script and production by Go Hiramatsu, designer of Lithium Homme/Femme.

Popular model Satoko Miyata stars as the heroine, with Ren Osugi making a special appearance. Attention is also drawn to the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection and staple line pieces worn by the main cast.
