Fred Segal's First Japanese Store Opens in Logroad Daikanyama

The first Japanese store for Fred Segal, the iconic West Coast lifestyle complex and select shop, has opened within Logroad Daikanyama on Friday, April 17th. This marks the brand's first-ever store outside of the United States.

A Popular Oregon Donut Shop Makes Its Japanese Debut

Logroad Daikanyama, a new commercial facility comprising five cottages, has opened on the former Tokyu Toyoko Line railway site. The Fred Segal Daikanyama store, its first international location, occupies buildings 2, 3, and 4.

Inside, the store embodies the concept of "laid-back luxe," blending the relaxed atmosphere of the American West Coast with an urban, modern lifestyle. The store design is rooted in a spacious California feeling, infused with industrial elements from downtown LA, the effortless vibe of Venice Beach, and the spirit of Brooklyn, New York.

Building 2 houses "The Mart at Fred Segal," a curated food market. The West Coast is renowned as a hub for organic and raw food. This market offers a sophisticated selection of food, coffee, and lifestyle goods inspired by the West Coast. Additionally, original merchandise sold exclusively in Japan and casual food from an adjacent food truck will be available.

Furthermore, Camden's Blue ☆ Donuts, a popular donut shop from Portland, Oregon, known for its long queues, makes its Japanese debut. This highly sought-after shop, famous for its artisanal donuts made with seasonal organic fruits and brioche dough, finally arrives in Japan.

Building 3 features "Fred Segal Woman," themed around "secret luxuries." It focuses on the diverse needs of modern women who live active and empowered lives. The collection includes apparel for the latest styles, as well as cosmetics and lifestyle goods. Building 4, "Fred Segal Man," presents sophisticated items for discerning adult men, ranging from casual to high-fashion. Spread across two floors, it offers a lineup of apparel, hobby items, and lifestyle accessories.
