Royal Baby Name Voting Event Held in Japan for the First Time

Globe-Trotter has a history intertwined with the British Royal Family since Queen Elizabeth II commissioned a custom travel case for her honeymoon. In 2013, the "Royal Suite" collection was launched to celebrate the birth of Prince George, selling out to great acclaim. Now, to commemorate the upcoming birth of the second child of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, expected in late April, the second limited collection, "Royal Suite II," is being released.

This collection, like the first, is a collaboration with "The Goring," Catherine's favorite hotel. The color combinations from the first collection have been reinterpreted to create an even more vibrant offering. The exterior features an ivory white body with classic navy and burgundy leather accents, embodying British style. The luxurious silk lining, featuring the Globe-Trotter logo woven into the wallpaper of the Royal Suite where Catherine stayed, has been specially created for this model. The "Royal Suite II" collection, exuding royal elegance, comprises seven models in total. The launch date is set for the day of the royal baby's birth.

Furthermore, "Vulcanize London" is hosting a royal baby name voting event. While name predictions by major bookmakers are a widespread event in the UK, this marks the first time such an event is held in Japan. One lucky winner, chosen by lottery from those who correctly guess the royal baby's name, will receive a 9-inch mini utility case (worth approximately ¥100,000) from the new "Royal Suite II" collection as a commemorative prize.
