A Tribute to Bally's Modernist Heritage

The film stars Josephine de La Baume and her brother Alexandre de La Baume, who perform as the duo "Singtank." Singtank also provides the original songs for the film. Josephine portrays an actress living in Los Angeles, USA. Through a lengthy phone interview, the film captures the complex mix of success and melancholy that often accompanies celebrity.

"I wanted to express a feeling, not a story," says director Carrozzini. The film is inspired by interviews with Brigitte Bardot and the portrayal of women in 1960s French and Italian cinema. The "Sommet Fold" bag, a key piece from the SS15 collection, also makes an appearance.

As Bally CEO Frédéric de Narp states, "This short film is a tribute to Bally's modernist heritage." The work embodies Bally's new aesthetic and the shared concept of modernist design. De Narp further commented, "I wanted to portray a modern, elegant woman who transcends time, and Josephine brought that to life. Although the dialogue and interiors are from over 50 years ago, the situation depicted could easily happen today."

The filming took place at Harpel House, designed in 1956 by John Lautner, an architect renowned for his iconic mid-century modern designs on the American West Coast, serving as a homage to American modernist design.
