3.1 Phillip Lim has launched an anniversary project to celebrate its 10th year in business. The first installment is a movie featuring new shoes, created in collaboration with visual artists Lernert & Sander.

Exclusive Video for Booth Visitors


New York-based 3.1 Phillip Lim, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, will roll out a year-long series of projects to commemorate the milestone. The inaugural initiative features a movie showcasing footwear from the Resort/Pre-Spring 2015 collections.

Titled "PEEP SHOE" with the concept of "PEEP SHOW," this project is a collaboration with Lernert & Sander, a visual artist duo from the Netherlands. They have produced four videos designed to stimulate the universal desire to "peek into the unknown." The films focus on feet from unique angles, documenting the real experiences of foot models. The result is a colorful, witty, and playful collection, characteristic of Lernert & Sander's work.

"PEEP SHOE" booths will be installed in select stores worldwide, offering an exclusive viewing of the full movie only to those who visit. In Japan, the flagship store in Aoyama and the shoe floor at Isetan Shinjuku Main Building will launch this installation on Wednesday, March 4th.
