Sounds Collected from the Bottega Veneta Atelier

"Emotion of Sound," as the title suggests, is a work where sound is the key motif. It focuses on sounds that we usually overlook or pass by, such as those collected in the Bottega Veneta atelier, the sounds created by the fabric of the dresses with movement, or the sounds produced when wearing a necklace. The dancers express their emotions in response to these sounds, drawing out their sensory elements.



"Sound, like other senses, can strongly stimulate curiosity and is very personal. Sound can convey a lot of information about its source and can also evoke unique imaginations. I wanted to explore this possibility by creating something extremely unique. I am incredibly moved by the work born from this collaboration," says Creative Director Tomas Maier.




The dynamism of the Spring/Summer 2015 collection, inspired by dance and free movement, is palpable in their graceful forms.

This work will be exclusively unveiled as a special installation at the Bottega Veneta Ginza store from March 7th to 16th.
