Chitose Abe, designer of "sacai," reimagines sport.—"NikeLab" announces the "NikeLab × sacai Collection," a creation of new expressions in sport and style. This women's sportswear collection will be available worldwide starting late March.

The Nike and sacai collaboration yields new interpretations of Nike classics, and unexpected silhouettes that redefine sportswear.

For this collection, designer Chitose Abe took traditional Nike men's silhouettes as her base and transformed them into styles with new femininity and modernity. By understanding Nike's material innovation and the dynamic body, and fusing them with her unique style and unconventional construction, the "NikeLab × sacai Collection" was born.

"I'm always inspired by the classics," Abe says. "Traditional silhouettes and ideas often originate from practical or functional sportswear, but as I worked with them, I wanted to fuse different materials and shapes to create something new and hybrid—unexpected, yet easy to wear."
