The "Ultra Boost": Peak Running Performance Meets Smart Style
adidas is launching its latest running shoe, the "ultra boost," which uses 100 percent BOOST™ foam in the midsole. It will be available from February 11th on the adidas Online Shop (http://shop.adidas.jp/boost/). Sales at adidas stores nationwide, adidas RUNBASE, and select adidas retailers will begin on February 25th (Wednesday).

Cutting-Edge Technology Elevated into Design
The "Ultra Boost" is the latest model to feature 100 percent BOOST™ foam in its midsole – a material offering the seemingly contradictory properties of shock absorption and energy return, a first for running shoes.
This shoe intuitively adapts to the runner's stride, providing exceptional support and a comfortable fit in any environment. Developed with the latest running technology, it's a premium model designed for effortless, smooth long-distance runs.
Beyond its numerous technologies and comfort, meticulous attention has been paid to its appearance. The stylish "Primeknit upper" and the web-like "Stretchweb outsole" create a smart, distinctive design that complements not only running scenes but also daily style.
To commemorate the launch of the Ultra Boost, adidas is also offering "BOOST＠home," a service allowing customers to try the shoes at home via online rental, available until May 10th (Sunday) on their website (http://adidas.jp/running/boosthome).
This system, which adidas proudly calls the "ultimate try-on service," allows users to select from six types of running shoes, including the latest Ultra Boost, ranging from advanced to beginner models.
Launched on February 10th, the service has generated significant buzz among runners, with a surge of applications from the outset.
An online diagnostic tool on the site helps users find the perfect shoe for their running style. Customers can rent up to two pairs simultaneously for a period of three nights and four days, with rental and shipping fees waived.
It's even possible to wear the rented shoes outdoors and run in them. This groundbreaking initiative allows customers to fully experience the comfort through simple online procedures before purchasing.
A Novel Urban Running Festival to Celebrate the Launch
To celebrate the release of the Ultra Boost, a one-day urban running festival, "BOOST TOKYO NIGHT," merging running, technology, and music, will be held on Saturday, February 28th, at Roppongi Hills Arena.
This innovative running event aims to visualize the energy generated by running in the Ultra Boost through digital technology and music.
The venue, Roppongi Hills Arena, will feature a 7-meter high main screen, a DJ booth, and four running machines. As DJs, including Takkyu Ishino, energize the crowd with music, attendees running on the machines in Ultra Boost will have their energy visualized on the main screen, further amplifying the atmosphere.
Takkyu Ishino will electrify the venue with his DJ set.
Additionally, there will be a talk show with special guests and a performance by freestyle footballer Kōtarō Tokuda.
This event requires no prior reservation and is free to attend. A full program will run from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering a chance to experience the appeal of the Ultra Boost through a fresh and engaging event.
