The collection embodies the sentiment: 'To be free from all, to face oneself, and to live happily with only what is essential.'—The Spring/Summer 2015 collection from Ouur, a brand co-produced by Actus and Ouur studio (publishers of the lifestyle magazine 'KINFOLK' based in Portland, USA), draws inspiration from the female artist Georgia O'Keeffe, whose creative work was deeply influenced by the natural grandeur of New Mexico.

A Fashion Brand Embodying the World of 'KINFOLK' Magazine
Ouur is a general lifestyle brand from Portland, founded by Nathan Williams, the creator and editor-in-chief of 'KINFOLK' magazine, who serves as its creative director.
Under the concept of 'a beautiful life, as it is,' all Ouur products and communication visuals are released under Nathan Williams' direction.
Colors Evoking the Earth and Distinctive Cuts
The Spring/Summer 2015 collection is inspired by O'Keeffe's portrayal of a masculine femininity and her personal lifestyle, created as an homage to the majestic, vast landscapes shaped by sand and wind.
The theme colors are based on six earthy tones: Bone (natural white), Adobe (beige), Red Earth, Black, Sage, and Smoke (grey), accented with White, Khaki, and Navy.
The materials focus on a paradoxical blend of dryness, reminiscent of the arid landscapes O'Keeffe inhabited in Mexico, and a contrasting sense of wetness. This duality is intriguingly expressed. Details include cuts inspired by the linear architecture of O'Keeffe's own home, set against the more decorative elements of the wilderness.
Characterized by airy fabrics stripped of excess and silhouettes that convey simple, natural softness, the collection embodies the concept of 'a beautiful life, as it is.'
