Dior Omotesando Reopens

Dior has reopened its flagship store, Dior Omotesando, located in Tokyo's Omotesando district. The interior design for the first and ground floors was handled by Peter Marino Architect.

A Modern Space Rooted in Maison Heritage

The new Dior Omotesando retains the glass-wall facade designed by SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima & Ryue Nishizawa), while modernly reinterpreting the design concept of the maison's historic flagship on Avenue Montaigne in Paris.

The interior features an open layout showcasing Dior's full range of categories. While preserving the maison's timeless elegance, the space has been reborn into a more luxurious and contemporary environment.

For this renovation, Dior commissioned several contemporary artists to create artworks that align with the maison's concept. A bench by Terence Main is placed in the center of the floor, and a video art wall combining floral designs by Yorame serves as the backdrop on the ground floor. In the fragrance room on the second floor, a toile de Jouy patterned wall is complemented by a striking mirror designed by Tim Hailand. The ready-to-wear section is further enhanced by a metallic bench from Johnny Swing, contributing to a refined atmosphere.

The store layout features handbags, jewelry, and watches on the first floor, and shoes, womenswear, and fragrances on the second floor. Adjacent to this is the Dior Homme boutique, which reopened last October, offering menswear, accessories, and watches.

To commemorate the reopening, a special collection of limited-edition clothing, bags, and shoes has been released, so be sure to check them out.
