New Collection Expresses the Strength of Mature, Translucent Beauty

Tae Ashida proposes modern items inspired by women active in various fields. The brand creates clothing that offers excellent comfort while maintaining sculptural silhouettes crafted with haute couture techniques.

Designer Tae Ashida presented her "miss ashida" collection in 1991. In 2011, she celebrated her debut's 20th anniversary, and the following year launched TAE ASHIDA, named after herself. That same year, she received the 54th FEC Special Award from the Fashion Editors' Club of Japan. She continues to thrive as a designer known for her elegant yet modern style.




The 2015 Spring/Summer collection, to be presented during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo, will be livestreamed. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 17th, starting at 4:30 PM. This runway show, marking the collection's fifth season since its debut, will take place in the Grand Ballroom of Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Roppongi. The collection is expected to feature a lineup ranging from daywear to evening wear, expressing the strength of mature beauty with the transparency characteristic of the spring and summer seasons.
