Get Your Own Original Item, One of a Kind in the World

For the Fall/Winter 2014 collection, rag & bone presents real clothes updated for urban life, adding 1950s American style to the brand's roots in traditional British military and classic elements. Among the presented looks, the custom pieces embroidered with the names of the models themselves walking the runway garnered particular popularity among buyers and editors. They sparked conversation about wanting original items with one's own name.

The items available for customization this time are a total of four types: three runway pieces from the Fall/Winter 2014 womenswear collection and one unisex sweatshirt. For the runway pieces, you can have up to around seven letters embroidered on the back, and for the sweatshirt, on the front. The number of characters and font size vary by item. To reproduce the original chain stitch inspired by 1950s American sportswear, a Singer 114 sewing machine, used at the time, is employed. The meticulous attention to detail is also not to be missed.





This service is exclusively available at directly managed stores in NY, LA, London, Tokyo, and Osaka. In Japan, it will be held at rag & bone Isetan Shinjuku from Tuesday, September 30th to Tuesday, October 7th, at rag & bone Omotesando from Tuesday, September 30th to Monday, October 13th (holiday), and at rag & bone Hankyu Umeda from Wednesday, October 15th to Tuesday, October 21st.
