Inspired by The Beatles' Rooftop Concert

beautiful people is a Tokyo-based brand designed by a team of four, led by designer Hidenori Kumakiri. This season's collection, themed "Across the Universe," draws inspiration from the guerrilla live performance footage of The Beatles' "Rooftop Concert" held in January 1969 on the rooftop of Apple Corps in London.

The designs are inspired by every image and story captured in the footage: John Lennon's rabbit coat borrowed from Yoko Ono, George Harrison's curly lamb fur coat borrowed from Pattie Boyd, the sweaters and mini-skirts of local office ladies who popped out as onlookers, and the gentlemanly attire of businessmen.




These two pop-up shops will offer a wide selection, from items that strongly reflect the season's theme to brand staples like trench coats, riders jackets, and duffle coats.

Don't miss the reversible MA-1 jacket, available in olive and navy, and the apple leopard shaggy coat in a sophisticated gray – pieces that capture the style of the era with a contemporary feel.
