The "Vara" shoe, featuring grosgrain ribbon and a gold metal buckle with the brand logo, has been a beloved icon for over 35 years since its debut in 1978, cherished by style setters worldwide. The "Varina" ballet flat, launched in 2007, has since become another signature shoe for the brand, enjoying immense popularity.
Now, a Made-to-Order program allows you to customize your own "Vara" and "Varina" shoes. This program is available at the limited-time pop-up store and three directly managed boutiques, with select in-store shops also beginning to offer the service sequentially.
At the pop-up store, open until September 15th (Monday), you can freely customize the shoe body color and bow color using iPads installed within the store. The available shoe body colors include black, ruby red, optic white, Oxford blue, bisque, and five new pastel shades. You can also select your preferred color from five options for the bow.
For the "Vara" shoe, the heel will be colored to match your chosen bow color. You can also select either a silver or gold metal buckle for the upper, and personalize the plate on the sole with up to three initials – a truly special order service. Please note that delivery will take approximately three months.
