THAKOON Sunglasses Fair
Opening November 7th (Saturday) at Shinjuku Wald 9 and other locations, "The September Issue" is a documentary film following Anna Wintour, the legendary editor-in-chief of American Vogue, often called the inspiration for the character in "The Devil Wears Prada." To celebrate the film's release, Continuer in Ebisu will host a fair featuring sunglasses and frames from designer Thakoon Panichgul, who is highly praised by Wintour in the film.

Portraying the Rigors and Joys of Work Through Anna Wintour
Anna Wintour, the iconic editor-in-chief of American Vogue, read by about one in ten American women, or 13 million people.
The film "The September Issue," featuring her, who is considered the most influential figure in the $300 billion fashion industry, transcends the role of a fashion magazine editor. The film begins with a scene at the 2007 Paris Fashion Week, where she visits Yves Saint Laurent's office and receives an explanation of the Fall/Winter collection directly from designer Stefano Pilati.

Director R.J. Cutler captures the true essence of Anna Wintour, who, despite her bob haircut and signature sunglasses, rarely allowed anyone inside, yet whose opinions are sought by renowned designers and whose arrival signals the start of fashion shows. The film delves into her private world.
While revealing her sincere dedication to her work, the film also portrays the struggles and growth of the editorial staff working under her as they overcome formidable challenges. This elevates the documentary beyond a mere glimpse into the glamorous fashion world, presenting a universal theme of "the rigor and joy of work."

To commemorate the film's release, Continuer in Ebisu is holding a fair for "THAKOON" sunglasses and frames.
The collection features new sunglasses and frames released just this autumn, alongside a wide range of color variations for popular, long-selling models.
From Saturday, October 24th to Saturday, November 21st, the first 10 pairs of customers (20 people) who purchase "THAKOON" eyewear will receive movie tickets as a gift.
Additionally, all customers who present their movie ticket stubs will receive a complimentary Continuer original glasses cloth.
