An Abundance of Limited-Edition Items Exclusive to the OSAKA Store
OPENING CEREMONY OSAKA is a new retail space realized through a partnership between Opening Ceremony and teamLab, centered around the theme of fusing digital art and fashion.
The store's innovative digital content, a result of combining teamLab's advanced technological prowess with Opening Ceremony's sharp sensibility, promises to transport shoppers into an exhilarating, uncharted retail experience.
The curated selection spans a wide range, from Opening Ceremony's own house brands, including "OPENING CEREMONY" and "OPENING CEREMONY JAPAN EXCLUSIVE LINE"—which marked a new chapter with their first runway presentation for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection—to collaborations with a diverse array of partners.
A highlight among the collaborations is the artist series. Limited-edition print T-shirts and unique shirts, created in participation with photographer Nobuyoshi Araki and Yoshikazu Yamagata of writtenafterwards, will be available for advance purchase. Furthermore, the "Kiko Mizuhara for OPENING CEREMONY" collaboration line is a must-see, featuring not only the latest collection but also special, exclusive items.
Additionally, limited-edition OSAKA items such as T-shirts and tote bags from the "OPENING CEREMONY JAPAN EXCLUSIVE LINE" will be released simultaneously, alongside collaborative pieces with Osaka-based freelance photographer Daisuke 'halu' Nishida and YOSHIROTTEN, who was recognized among the top 100 fashion graphic designers worldwide by CITY Magazine in New York.
Customers who spend ¥10,000 (pre-tax) or more will receive an exclusive OPENING CEREMONY OSAKA original tote bag on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
Furthermore, coinciding with the grand opening, a pop-up shop event, M.I.U. OFFICIAL TRIP to OPENING CEREMONY, will be held for a limited time until October 19th (Sunday). M.I.U. is a new retail concept born from the Nakameguro "soe" flagship store, and its previous event at "OPENING CEREMONY OMOTESANDO," featuring products from designer Soichiro Ito and creative director Takayuki Minami, is still fresh in memory. This event, too, promises a compelling lineup of rare items exclusively available at "OPENING CEREMONY OSAKA."
