Long-Awaited Flagship Store Opens in Minami-Aoyama

Parisian French casual brand Zadig&Voltaire has opened its long-awaited flagship store in Minami-Aoyama on September 5th (Friday). The store embodies the brand's signature rock and contemporary aesthetic, infused with creative and innovative elements.

French Casualwear Blending Rock and Elegance

Founded in 1997 by Thierry Gillier, Zadig&Voltaire offers a wide range of collections for women, men, and children, including clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, fragrances, and eyewear. The brand proposes a new type of "affordable luxury" that is stylish and relaxed, adding playful, rock-inspired twists to basic items made with luxurious materials. With stores across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, including France, Zadig&Voltaire currently has 19 stores nationwide in Japan and is beloved by celebrities worldwide.

Since 2006, Swedish-born Cecilia Bonstrom has served as Creative Director. While maintaining a core rock spirit, she has cultivated an image of an elegant and sophisticated French brand, presenting collections at Paris Fashion Week since the Autumn/Winter 2013-14 season.

Interior and Product Assortment Reflecting the French Flagship

The Zadig&Voltaire Aoyama store presents a space based on an entirely new concept, meticulously crafted with Parisian esprit, emphasizing a mix of materials and lighting effects. The design, featuring textured mortar walls, impressively fuses the brand's rock spirit with Parisian tradition.

Fixtures are made of steel and white lacquer, used in shops across France and globally, already forming an essential part of Zadig&Voltaire's shop identity. The lighting, utilizing LED tubes, is an homage to Dan Flavin. The collections are displayed across two floors, offering the full lineup for women, men, and children.

Additionally, a limited-edition luxurious zebra-print wool stole, a must-have for Parisian women, will be released. The first 300 customers to visit the Aoyama store will receive an original cotton bag as a gift.
