Stella McCartney Visits Japan, Announces Relocation of Aoyama Flagship Store

New Aoyama Location on Miyuki Street Next Year

The event showcased the new Spring 2015 collection, recently presented in New York and Milan, for its first Asian debut at the rooftop garden of the Keyakizaka Complex in Roppongi Hills. Many celebrities, including Mika Ninagawa, Kozue Akimoto, and Fuyuko Matsui, attended.Spring 2015 CollectionGuests enjoyed a garden party in a playful space inspired by the collection.

All items are crafted without leather or fur. Stella McCartney's brand philosophy centers on being eco-friendly and animal-friendly, ethical, and sustainable. During her visit, she also participated in a lecture at Aoyama Gakuin Auditorium with Christel Takigawa, an advocate for animal welfare, discussing topics such as 'The Modern Woman's Way of Life' and 'Connection with Society'.

It was also announced that the Stella McCartney Aoyama store, opened in 2008, will relocate to Miyuki Street in Aoyama next year. Stella McCartney has been expanding its presence in Asia in recent years, with new stores in Hong Kong's Ocean Centre, Taipei's Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Beijing's Parkview, and Shanghai's IAPM. In Japan, the brand operates two flagship stores in Aoyama and Roppongi Hills, and is also available at Ginza Mitsukoshi, Isetan Shinjuku, Matsuya Ginza, and Hankyu Umeda Main Store.
