Magnificent Botanical Art by Junichi Kakizaki Welcomed Guests

Nature has repeatedly served as a source of inspiration for Alexander McQueen's collections. At the Aoyama flagship store, which became the party venue, this theme, a crucial element for the brand, was expressed as a grand botanical art installation filling the two-floor store windows. An installation by contemporary flower artist Junichi Kakizaki was on display.

The event saw a gathering of distinguished guests, including the brand's Creative Director Sarah Burton and CEO Jonathan Akeroyd, alongside model Tao, Mona Matsuoka, Eimi Kuroda, Kozue Akimoto, photographer Mika Ninagawa, designer Noritaka Tatehana, and dancer Yoshito Ohno.

Guests arrived adorned in their favorite Alexander McQueen pieces, from the latest collections to the brand's iconic scarves. They enjoyed the glamorous evening with catering by "Kanetanaka," a long-established restaurant in Ginza, complemented by champagne and sparkling sake, all set to a live soundtrack of analog instrumental music.

Sarah Burton commented on the flagship store: "The craftsmanship that underpins our collections can be felt throughout this store. I particularly love the luxurious and unique world it creates, and I am incredibly proud to be able to present the Alexander McQueen Aoyama store."
