PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE's "Nougat" Welcomes New Additions

PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE introduces two new series to its "NOUGAT" collection of shape-shifting bags. The enamel series is available now. Furthermore, on September 4th (Thursday), the matte series will launch in colors that complement autumn and winter wardrobes.

Entering its third season since its debut in Fall/Winter 2013, the NOUGAT series continues to captivate. The bag series' most distinctive feature is its malleability; it can be shaped into squares, circles, crumpled, or smoothed out, all by the user's own hands. Much like a lump of clay transformed into various forms, you can enjoy molding it into your preferred silhouette.

These two new series further refine the concept of shape and usability. The "Nougat 1" enamel series, currently available, includes a pochette, cube Boston bag, clutch, and slim Boston bag, with a backpack newly added as a limited item for select stores. Colors offered are black, magenta, yellow, and deep green. The "Nougat 2" matte series, launching September 4th (Thursday), features a pochette, cube Boston bag, clutch, and slim Boston bag. It will be available in four colors: white, black, beige, and blue.
