A Dramatic Visual Production Transports You to Another World
In early May, Michael Kors hosted an unprecedentedly large-scale fashion show. The venue? An airplane hangar at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. On the expansive, 360-degree runway, celebrity models such as Miranda Kerr, Carmen Pedaru, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Ming Xi appeared, joined by Japanese model Ai Tominaga.
The show featured a runway alongside dynamic digital projection, showcasing archival lookbooks and iconic Jet Set Collection pieces symbolizing the brand's identity.
Through dynamic visual presentations using elements like holographic videos, Michael Kors' favorite locations such as Shanghai, St. Moritz, Capri, and New York appeared in 3D, creating a sensation of instantaneous travel to each city. As countless balloons descended from the sky, the audience erupted in applause for the breathtaking, dramatic finale.
The brand is currently offering the free app "MK360," which allows you to enjoy the show in a 360-degree panoramic view. You can download it from the official website (www.destinationkors.com/jetset) or the Apple Store, so be sure to check it out.
