Maison Martin Margiela has collaborated with Berlin-based eyewear brand MYKITA to launch a sunglass collection. It will be available from April at eyewear specialty stores and select boutiques.

Where High Technology Meets Avant-Garde Design

This collaboration was realized through a shared creative concept between the two brands, encompassing a reinterpretation of historical forms, experimentation with structure, and an unconventional approach to materials.

The collection features two unisex styles. The "ESSENTIAL" model, crafted with stainless steel frames, is characterized by its elegantly streamlined silhouette. Available in six variations across four colors. The "DUAL" model, composed of two acetate layers, showcases a contemporary appeal with its bi-color design, achieved by deconstructing a single form into two. Available in four variations across five colors.

Maison Martin Margiela first unveiled its eyewear collection in 2009. This collaboration marks the perfect moment for the Maison to move to the next step by creating the ultimate eyewear. "This new, powerful encounter feels like breathing fresh air. The edge, the brilliant technology, and the creativity – MYKITA's DNA perfectly aligns with the Maison's philosophy," they stated.
