With the motto "Not just a place for shopping, but a space that connects people," Valmuer is a new style concept store at the forefront of the times.
The items include clothing, bags, and shoes meticulously selected from global collections by Founder/Director Christine Wei. The appeal lies in its luxurious and unique selection, featuring high-end collections from Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, Antonio Marras, and Giles, as well as Sara Battaglia's bag collection, which is not yet widely available in Japan.
The interior design was handled by Nao Taniyama, known for hotel designs abroad. The sophisticated space includes an adjacent cafe and library, offering an environment where visitors can engage not only with shopping but also with fashion and culture.
The cafe space offers original blend coffee and herbal teas. On weekend evenings, it transforms into a lounge, and it also serves as a gallery space regularly exhibiting works by various artists, creating a dynamic environment that invites repeat visits. The shop aims to be a place where visitors can share their individual perspectives.
Furthermore, a collaboration with photographer Leslie Kee has resulted in the launch of a project titled "Valmuer × Leslie Kee 'Fashion is Project.'" Kee has photographed eight models wearing items from Valmuer's Spring/Summer 2014 collection, and these panel prints will be exhibited in-store for approximately one month from the opening. Additionally, customers who spend over ¥30,000 will receive a catalog, available in limited quantities while supplies last.
