A T-Shirt is the Sole Medium for Conveying a Message

M/M(Paris) is a popular design unit formed in Paris by Michaël Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak. Their scope of work is vast, ranging from fashion to music, and they have previously created artwork for renowned designers and artists such as Yohji Yamamoto, Prada, Björk, and Madonna.

This marks the first collaboration between A.P.C. and M/M(Paris) for apparel. The collection was born from the idea that "by putting messages and drawings on T-shirts, one can convey and share ideas and perspectives."

The "Mister T" items feature a unique design with a character, shaped like a T-shirt, printed on them. It allows for an appreciation of the "Droste effect," a visual technique where an image recursively appears within itself. Additionally, a font specially created for this project is used, notably proposing a new meaning for the brand's initials "A.P.C." (Atelier de Production et de Creation – Workshop for Production and Creation).

Also featured are T-shirts inspired by Jean Touitou, the designer, and Judith, a representative of American urban culture and a close associate of Jean. The word "Jean" is rendered in the shape of a puppy, known as "toutou" in French, and the parallel "J/J" representing Jean and Judith echoes M/M.
