Simone Rocha: The Rising Star Designer

J BRAND, a brand known for its denim expertise, supports new talent through collaborations. Previously, they have partnered with Proenza Schouler, based in New York, and London's Christopher Kane.

Simone Rocha, the designer collaborating this time, is a talented emerging designer who gained attention at London Fashion Week after earning her Master's degree from Central Saint Martins. She received the BFC (British Fashion Council) Young Fashion Designer of the Year award in 2013.

Jeff Rudes, founder and CEO of J BRAND, stated, "Simone has created a compelling world in an incredibly short amount of time. Her designer's poise and strong direction are rare for her generation. We are incredibly excited to create a capsule collection with Simone."

Simone Rocha commented, "I am honored to be a part of this project. I have learned so much from J BRAND's knowledge of denim and their approach to launching collections."

This capsule collection will be previewed around July and is scheduled to be available in select stores and on the J BRAND website in late 2014. Release in Japan is yet to be determined.
