The Second Optical Collection Arrives
Try on Glasses at Home?
To mark the launch of its second optical collection, Stella McCartney has introduced an interactive game.

A Diverse Range of Models
Following the optical collection released in March 2013, this second collection features a bold, modern feminine style with a vintage twist. The four eyewear styles, crafted from bio-plastic containing 54% castor oil—a renewable resource—are available in sophisticated, natural colors, including Bordeaux and pink tortoiseshell.
Furthermore, an interactive game has been launched, featuring the new optical collection. First, take a photo of your face with your webcam or upload an existing photo. Then, select your preferred optical style and color, adjust the size of the glasses, and enjoy a virtual fitting.
Decorate your chosen optical frame superimposed on your photo with playful graphics like the pop exclamation marks and arrows used in the 2013 Winter Campaign, or a placard for short messages, to complete an image that captures the brand's playful spirit. You can then save the resulting image to your computer or share it on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
The optical collection will be available at select shops including Anglobal and BIOTOP, as well as eyewear specialists Optical Tailer Cradle and Klein eyewear.
