Each Quilt Tells Its Own Story

The “A.P.C. Quilts” project began when Jean Touitou, founder and creative director of A.P.C., pondered how to creatively reuse the surplus fabrics piled up in the warehouse. He then commissioned fashion designer Jessica Ogden, known for her remakes of vintage quilts, to create quilts using these leftover materials.

The first seven quilts, each produced in a limited run of 30 pieces, were launched in late 2010. The collection has since become a popular initiative, with a total of seven quilt collections released to date. Recently, quilted cushions and baby quilts have been added to the collection.

This event will feature reissues of 20 past quilt designs, alongside many newly designed accessories such as portable holders, paniers, vanity cases, and cat-shaped cushions. All are produced in India using A.P.C.'s archive fabrics.

The quilts made from archive fabrics are a mirror reflecting A.P.C.'s history. You might even find fabric from your favorite past garments within the patchwork.
