Ephemeral Beauty, Like Art Pieces
The headwear, conceived by Katsuya Kamo, is crafted from paper. Drawing inspiration from the bijoux and pearls used in JILLSTUART's accessories, ten distinct headwear designs have been created. The collection features pieces like a cat-shaped opera mask headwear with eerily gleaming pearl eyes, and a lip-shaped hair clip adorned with pearls that seem about to spill over, each imbued with Kamo's meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a collection that truly resembles art pieces.
The ephemeral beauty born from a papercraft base is fused with the warmth of handcrafted artistry, a charm in itself. These pieces will be available for pre-sale starting Saturday, September 14th at the Shibuya Main Store, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Kobe Store, and Sendai Store. Subsequently, they will be rolled out nationwide at JILLSTUART stores from the end of September.
