Special Collection Arrives at Isetan Shinjuku's "The Stage"



The special collection from Loewe and Junya Watanabe COMME des GARÇONS, announced in May to great fanfare,is finally here. From Wednesday, September 18th to Tuesday, September 24th, it will be showcased at The Stage on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku's main building.

Where Spanish Leather Meets Japanese Denim



2013 marks 400 years since the start of exchange between Spain and Japan, and also 40 years since Loewe opened its first boutique in Japan. To commemorate these milestones, Loewe and Junya Watanabe COMME des GARÇONS have collaborated on a special collection, giving birth to "Loewe and Junya Watanabe COMME des GARÇONS."

This pop-up shop recreates the world presented at the show held at the Spanish Embassy in May. Within this special space, you can enjoy a collection where each brand's creativity is fully expressed.

For women, the collection features a nappa leather jacket with all-over denim stitching, a leather patchwork skirt, a mini skirt combining leather and denim, and two styles of leather and denim pants. For men, there are denim jackets with leather sleeves and leather and denim pants. The denim color is black for men and blue for women.

For bags, Loewe's iconic "Amazona" bag is reimagined in two styles: a leather patchwork version and a denim and leather bag with patchwork detailing, available in four sizes. Additionally, tote bags, pouches, and purses will be released. As a special gift for purchasers during the event period, limited edition nail stickers will be offered (available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last).

This collaboration between two global brands with an overwhelming presence is a must-see. The collection, which blends Loewe's classic elegance with Junya Watanabe COMME des GARÇONS' punk aesthetic, brings out new facets of each brand's appeal.
