Prêt-à-Couture You Can Actually Wear
The number of young designers participating in the Haute Couture Collections is growing. Among them, Bouchra Jarrar is one to watch. Now in her fourth season since her debut, presenting exclusively in haute couture, this season she delivered a collection imbued with strength. Expressed in three colors—ecru, black, and pink beige—the collection features fabrics woven from threads chosen with meticulous care. While employing the finest textures and techniques, the result is prêt-à-couture that can be worn in real life. With pieces like rider's jackets, trousers, and dresses with distinctive paneling, the garments are both strong and gentle, possessing a unique character.
Sharp Shoulder Lines Evoking Strong Femininity
Alexandre Vauthier is an established designer favored by celebrities. While the brand initially gained attention for its sharp designs with pronounced shoulder lines, this season saw a significant expansion in design variations. Flowing drapes were secured with gold zippers and chain belts, creating sharp and sexy dresses. The collection broadened its scope through combinations of fur, mohair knits, and leather.
