GLOBE SPECS is hosting its annual trunk show for the Viennese hat brand MÜHLBAUER. It will be held by appointment at GLOBE SPECS Shibuya on Sunday, September 15th, and at GLOBE SPECS Daikanyama on Monday, September 16th.

Expanding in Scale Each Time, This Year Features Approximately 70 Styles
MÜHLBAUER is a long-established hat maker in Vienna, continuing for 110 years since 1903. For the trunk show, held only twice a year at GLOBE SPECS, Klaus Mühlbauer, the fourth-generation owner and designer, will visit Japan. He will personally explain new collections, offer advice on choosing the right hat, and even measure for the perfect size. It is popular every year, with customers saying, "You can choose your favorite hat without compromise."
Appointments Available in Six Sessions on Both Event Days
MÜHLBAUER is favored by many, including Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, and Madonna, as well as Japanese artists like Kururi and NIGO®. This season's hat concept is "Light and Shadow."
It simultaneously represents contrasting worlds such as the stage and backstage, or glamorous party settings and everyday life, through hats. Rather than viewing them as opposites, it expresses that both the glamorous moments we all experience and our grounded daily lives are part of our individuality.
Many hats are presented that are more colorful, sparkling, or adorned with fur than usual, yet they retain their elegance and warmth.
