Introducing the new "Baylee" to the handbag collection

Chloé's Fall/Winter 2013 handbag collection welcomes the new "BAYLEE." It was first available for pre-sale starting August 14 (Wed.) at Isetan Shinjuku, and from August 27 (Tue.) at Chloé Aoyama and Matsuya Ginza, before its nationwide release on September 15 (Sun.).

A modern day bag with the spirit of a satchel

Chloé celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2012. Clare Waight Keller, who became Creative Director in 2011, revived the naming concept of founder Gaby Aghion by presenting a collection of handbags named in alphabetical order, revitalizing the Maison's vocabulary.

The new handbag collection, named alphabetically, begins with the urban and graphic "ALICE," and "B" is for the versatile "BAYLEE."2014 Press Spring CollectionThe "C" in the 2014 Press Spring Collection sees Clare Waight Keller lend her own name, "CLARE," to a modern and chic shoulder bag.

The "Baylee," released this time, is characterized by its plump volume and military-inspired wide strap. A shimmering chain adds an elegant accent.

Crafted from soft, smooth calfskin, it possesses a strong presence yet its feminine silhouette allows for versatile carrying, making it exceptionally practical. When worn as a shoulder bag, the handles are folded down.

Available in two sizes, large and medium. The color palette includes three bi-color options for the front and back, and three solid colors, for a total of six variations. Limited edition colors will also be available at Isetan Shinjuku and Hankyu Umeda Main Store.

Each season, the new handbag collection features unique items with feminine names in alphabetical order. These are sure to become key pieces in your wardrobe.
